CAREER

Associate professor in the Department of Physical Theory and History of Science of the UPV/EHU since 2017, where he initially developed his research activity and later his teaching activity from 2012 onwards.

Degree in History from Deusto University (2006) and PhD in Contemporary History from the UPV/EHU (2015).

He made a pre-doctoral stay at the Center for Basque Studies, University of Nevada, Reno (2012).

As a replacement professor in the Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Anthropology of the UPV/EHU, he taught the subject “Pedagogy: Theory of the Educational Institutions” in 2017.

Since 2012 he has developed his research activity in the consolidated research group “Biography & Parliament”, specialising in research lines dealing with Francoist repression, prosopographical analysis and the municipal and Foral institutions of Biscay. He has taken part as a member in four projects funded from competitive calls, while as a researcher he has taken part in 8 contracts, agreements or non-competitive projects funded by the public institutions. He was the scientific manager of the Documentation Center of the Economic Agreement and Foral Treasuries (2015-2017). As an author he has published 3 books and 34 book chapters or articles in journals.

He has also been active in the publishing field as a member of the Editorial Committee of the journal Bidebarrieta.
