The required language level is as follows:

•     Level B2 of Spanish (if you are going to take subjects in Spanish and it is not your native language) or B2 of English (if you are going to take subjects in English and it is not your native language), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR.
•     Level B1 in Spanish + B2 in English (if you are going to study English Friendly subjects), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR.

The following certificates are accepted:

•     All internationally recognised certificates TOEFL, CAMBRIDGE, IELTS, etc.
•     Confirmation issued by the home university regarding the student's language skills at the required level (B2) using our language requirements form.

The number of credits corresponding to a semester is 30 ECTS credits and 60 ECTS credits for a full academic year.

During your stay you are expected to take at least 20 ECTS credits per semester, of which at least 50% must correspond to courses offered by the Bilbao School of Engineering.
