Development of a methodology with a life cycle perspective to evaluate the energy rehabilitation actions of the existing building stock in accordance with the requirements of the new technical code
This project arises precisely from the need of one of the collaborating entities: ALOKABIDE SA. This entity is a manager of public rental housing with a very diverse park with rehabilitation needs and with tenants of medium-low socio-economic profile, where there are situations of risk of energy poverty. The required interventions are very extensive, but there are economic limitations to undertake them all in the short term. An analysis of the specific characteristics of the park they manage and of the possible intervention strategies with a global and medium-long term vision would allow them, on the one hand, to evaluate the renovations they are undertaking, and on the other hand, to design and prioritize future actions according to their impact and feasibility.
In this context, the main objective of this project is to develop a methodology with a life-cycle perspective to evaluate the energy refurbishment actions of the existing building stock according to the requirements of the new technical code. The aim is that the collaborating entities have a tool that allows them to prioritize and plan the different renovation strategies that make possible the improvement of the quality of life of the users of these dwellings, as well as the energy efficiency and environmental impact of these buildings.
