To analyze the applicability and mechanisms of integration of ecosystem services in land managementhave been conducted various workshops and meetings with technicians and managers from different departments and public entities:
- Department of Environment and Territorial planning of the Basque Government
- Basque Water Agency (URA)
- IHOBE
- Provincial governments
- Municipal technicals (municipalities, associations, etc.)
- Techinicals of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve
- In addition, we selected several case studies to demonstrate the applicability of the conceptual and methodological framework used in the project:
- Revision of Regional Planning Guidelines (DOT).
- Revision of Partial Territorial Plan (PTP) of Metropolitan Bilbao.
- Renewal of PRUG of Urdaibai: PRUG 2016.
- MAES Pilot on Mapping and Assessment of Urban Ecosystem and their Services: Bilbao.
- MAES 2015 report “Mapping and Assessment of Forest Ecosystems Services:Urdaibai».
- Sustainable management of the viewsheds in the Basque Country based on the recreation service.
- European Network of Regional Governments for Sustainability (ENCORE)
- Development of an indicator of the territory multifunctionality at the municipality scale: Debabarrena in Gipuzkoa, Nerbioi-Ibaizabal in Bizkaia and Ayala in Araba
