IBERIAN CONGRESS ON RIVER RESTORATION
Leire Fernández from the UNESCO Chair will take part in the 3rd Iberian Congress on River Restoration in Murcia next week (12th to 14th June).
Her presentation titled The Inclusion of Regulating Ecosystem Services in River Restoration will set out the methodology for including three regulating services from river systems as a fundamental aspect of achieving environmental sustainability in these habitats. Projects such as these can help in diagnosing multifunctional restoration actions to create a coherent network of green and blue infrastructure, and can also enable future monitoring.
