EuroMAB 2019
Miren Onaindia, coordinator of the UNESCO Chair, will take part in the EuroMAB Conference 2019 taking place on 3-5 April, in Dublin, Ireland, with a talk titled: “The role of ecosystem services in conservation and management. Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve”.
The EuroMAB Conference, which is held every two years and lasts three days, will bring together representatives of 302 biosphere reserves from 36 countries across Europe and North America. It is an opportunity to meet and discuss collective approaches to managing interactions between people and nature, supporting conservation and the celebration of natural and cultural heritage, and finally, testing innovative solutions to promote sustainable tourism.
