XV NATIONAL CONGRESS OF AEET, 2021
Researchers from the UNESCO Chair will participate in the XV National Congress of AEET “The value of Nature for a Global Society”, which will take place from October 18 to 21, 2021, in Plasencia, Cáceres. In that congress the oral communication “Improving connectivity in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve to create a Green Infrastructure” and the poster “RENATUR interrreg project: co-working among international institutions, stakeholders and scientists to protect peri-urban open spaces (PUOS)” will be presented.
This congress addresses the important role that Ecology, as a scientific discipline, plays in society. Interactions between organisms and their relationship with the environment have important consequences on the functions and ecosystems services which humans depend. The congress aims to provide a platform for the exchange of the most current knowledge on ecology, considering processes and functions at different spatial and temporal scales in the terrestrial environment.
