Iraultza Unzueta Solozabal obtained the Degree in Physics and Degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU) in 2013. In the Electronic Engineering Degree, he got the prize for the best academic record. Later on, he completed the official Master of New Materials where he also obtained the mention of the best master student. He carried out the thesis in the area of Applied Physics, obtaining the qualification Cum Laude. Initially, he was hired at the BCMaterials center, delving into positron annihilation and Mössbauer spectroscopies. During this period, he developed a positron lifetime spectrometer for the subsequent predoctoral stage, and joined the doctoral program of Physics and Technology of Materials of the University of the Basque Country (with mention of excellence) in 2015. Then he obtained the PREDOC Grant from the Basque Government for the consecution of the Doctoral Thesis at UPV/EHU. During his period of PREDOC, Iraultza has published a total of 15 articles where 11 of them are located in the first quartile in the respective areas indexed in JCR. He made a stay at ISOLDE (CERN), where he spent a total of 4 months in one of the most worldwide leading centers in the study of nuclear and particle physics as a member of the eMS international research collaboration. He contributed in 23 congresses between papers and posters. During his PREDOC period, he gained a large teaching experience, teaching more than 22.8 ECTS credits.
