Degree in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona(2004) and specialized in clinical neuropsychology at the same university (2007), she has the General sanitary psychologist accreditation. Permanent professor since 2017, she teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate (in 3 languages) and has combined teaching with university management, being practicum and postgraduate vice-dean between 2015-19 and is nowadays responsible of the General Health Psychology master.
Since she presented her PhD in 2010 on the neuropsychological and structural characterization of patients with myotonic dystrophy type 1 and other neuromuscular diseases, she has participated in multidisciplinary research projects collaborating with professionals in the clinical, biology, methodology and computer science fields both nationally and internationally. She is principal Investigator of a FIS project (ISC-III) and she has been recognized 2 research six terms and 1 trasference six term. They are part of her research lines also cognition in Multiple Sclerosis and the neurodevelopment of premature children. Member since 2008 of the network biomedical research group (CIBERNED) and the Neurosciences Area of the Biodonostia Institute. She has combined for years the above mentioned activity with clinical assistance at the Donostia University Hospital through an OTRI contract with the Biodonostia Institute, which has allowed her to transfer to the students experiences of applied psychological practic
