TEACHING SOCIAL SCIENCE I
Students will have their first contact with the field by learning about the basic principles of the social sciences. They will learn about social facts and social interaction considering both their spatial and temporal dimensions. Furthermore, students will learn and reflect about the aims of education and the official social science curriculum, the meaning and components of the social and civic competence, as well as the didactic approaches related to the teaching of social sciences.
This subject is part of the second module of the first year, "School and Curriculum", where students will deal with consumption and consumerism from an interdisciplinary point of view.
