Amelia Benito del Valle Eskauriaza is a professor and researcher in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in the area of Communication Competence. She has a degree and a PhD in Information Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. He studied M.S.c. in Intercultural Communication at the University of Montreal and doctoral schooling in sociology of literature at the University of Quebec in Montreal. In addition, she graduated in Primary Education from the University of the Basque Country. She has taught in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Quebec in Montreal, in the School of Tourism of the University of Deusto and in several primary and secondary schools.
Likewise, she has made several stays in foreign universities focusing on the literary and social and participating in international research groups. Her research activity is focused on the literary and social. It also covers aspects of the female literary event and new communicative supports. She has directed several international publications and published numerous articles. Nowadays, she is a member of the research group of the UPV / EHU, LAIDA, Literature and Identity.
