Doctoral Programme in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition

Nested Applications

Presentación - Nutrigenomica

The Doctoral studies in Nutrigenomics and Personalised Nutrition are designed to train professionals to be able to carry out research into the most innovative and cutting-edge aspects of Nutrition, which the major companies in the food industry are currently demanding for their R+D+i projects.

The training objectives focus on developing skills related to Molecular Nutrition, placing particular emphasis on new technologies such as transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics and the concept of systems biology, which are all fundamental for new professionals in the field of Nutrition. Training also focuses on concepts related to the interaction between genes and nutrients, food safety and functional food.

The University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) and the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) all participate in this Doctoral programme.
