We are pleased to announce that the first Workshop on Language Processing in Aging will be held in Vitoria-Gasteiz (University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU) on May 23rd, 2024.

The workshop brings together scientists studying language processing in aging from different perspectives, and it represents an opportunity to discuss recent scientific findings, exchange knowledge, and stimulate new ideas.

Call for abstracts:
We welcome contributions made in any area of language processing investigating aging populations.
Abstracts for posters can be submitted until March 25th 2024 (FINAL EXTENDED DEADLINE) using the following link:

Abstracts should be written in English and must meet the following requirements:
The title and text of the abstract (max. 250 words) must fit in a single A4 page. References, tables, figures, and examples may appear on a second page. Abstracts should be formatted using 11pt Arial font, single-spaced, and 2.54 cm (1 inch) margins on all sides.
Please do not include any author or identifying information in your abstract text or file. Abstracts must be submitted as a property-free PDF file.
Important dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: 25 March 2024 (FINAL EXTENDED DEADLINE)
- Notification on acceptance: 8 April 2024
- Registration: ongoing until full capacity is achieved – Note that registration is free.
