Description Consolidated Research Group of type A by the Basque Government with reference IT1005-16 made up of personnel from the Departments of Electricity and Electronics and Physics of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The group is the fusion of the nuclear techniques laboratory in which there are unique and singular spectroscopies in the Basque Country and the Luminescence laboratory. It has stable research collaborations with foreign groups from Argentina, Finland, Japan, Switzerland (CNRS) ... and currently two of his doctorates are doing postdocs at American universities (Berkeley and Stanford). The main lines of research are focused on both, materials with potential applications and biomedicine, where in collaboration with other groups of the Faculty, doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Galdakao Hospital we are developing a therapy against cancer. |
