Oscar Altuzarra received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao, University of the Basque Country, Spain, in 1995, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the same University in 1999.
He has developed lecture and research activities at the University of the Basque Country, where he has been Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering since 2010. His research interests: re theoretical kinematics, mechanisms, design of parallel kinematic machines, robotics, and computational analysis of the kinematics and dynamics of complex mechanical problems.
