She is graduated in Information Sciences at the University of the Basque Country (Leioa, Spain), with a Masters Degree in International Relations and in Environmental Education.
Since 2006, she has been a researcher at the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Environmental Education at the University of the Basque Country. Her specialty is on issues of university education in sustainable development and environmental education.
Previously she worked, in the framework of UNESCO, in the formulation, implementation and justification of educational projects and environmental teaching at both national and international level.
